Description

This 6 minute video documentary explores how climate change is affecting drought and access to water and drought. Rising sea levels have led to saltwater intrusions, affecting groundwater, the main source for the daily freshwater needs for Tuvaluans.

This video was developed by the Action Against Climate Change (A2C2), a Pacific Media Assistance Scheme (PACMAS) initiative showcasing 'voices of youth' to raise awareness about local climate change solutions.

You can stream the video from the PACMAS website, via Vimeo or via YouTube.

Produced by Onorina Saukelo and students of the University of the South Pacific (USP) for a Pacific Media Assistance Scheme (PACMAS) initiative, with funding from the Australian Government's Pacific-Australia Climate Change Science and Adaptation Planning Initiative. A2C2 is implemented by Apidae Development Innovations. PACMAS is funded by the Australian Government and managed by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
