Abstract:
The report intends to support and to enhance a debate about current and future climate related risks in the water sector and related economic development. Africa and Millennium Development Goals are used here to illustrate the potential risks associated with not adequate consideration of the effects of climate variability and change. This report was presented and discussed at the 4th World Water Forum held in March 2006 in Mexico City.
