Description

An ambitious “Think-tank Working Meeting” will be facilitated by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme from 17 – 20 March at the Pacific Climate Change Centre in Apia, Samoa. This will bring members from the 2019 Pacific Resilience Meeting Communications Working Group or nominated communications experts from organisation representatives in this Group, as well as the PRP Taskforce. Over the course of three days, the selected group will work intensively to develop the communications infrastructure for engagement and advocacy of the PRP and FRDP, as well as begin the development process of resources and content for use. This will require think-tank sessions as well as the writing of text for the communications strategy, guidelines and resources. It will also involve commenting and input upon all text developed until the outcomes expected are completed. This is in line with Point 9 of the “9 Points’ Strategy” with all content developed addressing the “Proposal for a ‘Strategic Guidance Note’ from the Pacific Resilience Partnership Taskforce
