Update: 11:44PM A SUM of $200,000 has been set aside to cover the operations of the Climate Change Unit under the Ministry of Finance.
Attorney-General and Finance Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the severity of Tropical Cyclone Winston was a sober reminder of what the world could expect because of climate change.
"Adapting to this new climatic system is no longer optional for Small Island Developing Countries such as Fiji, which are considered as the most vulnerable," he said.
