THE African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States say Fiji in particular and other ACP countries must be acknowledged for preparing their nationally determined contributions (NDC) and pursuing ratification of the Paris Agreement.
This was the comment of ACP secretary general Dr Patrick Ignatius Gomes at the European Development Day in Brussels this week.
The NDC are the first greenhouse gas targets under the United Nations Framework convention on Climate Change that apply equally to developed and developing countries.
