Climate points to more possible conflict

CLIMATE change can be a contributor to more conflict, says US deputy chief of mission Douglas Sonnek.

Speaking at the opening of a four-day Regional Environment Security Forum in Nadi on Tuesday, he said the future of the US and its Pacific partners were inextricably linked to their ability to respond to the challenges posed by climate change and the degradation of ocean resources.
